Free Art in Shibuya
Have you ever been to Shibuya? It's the fashion capital of Tokyo. A statue of a dog called Hachiko is waiting in front of the JR exit (Yamanote Line). Many tourist take pictures there and then cross the Shibuya crossway. At this place, sometimes you will be asked for interviews. The career of many models started in this location.
Of enjoying free art in Shibuya, you need to use a different train exit. The Hikarie Department is located near the exit of the subway lines (Fukutoshin Line or Tokyo Toyoko Line). You find galleries at the 8 floor of the Hikarie Department. The artist will change every week, so there is always a chance to see great work.

Free graduation art exhibitions in Japan
Last weekend, I visited the graduation art exhibition of the Kuwasawa Design School. Did you know that graduation exhibitions are free?
It's a great and cheap way to spend your weekend in Tokyo. Every art university is having these kind of exhibitions in Japan. Most of the art university's have a English website, where you can check out the schedule of free exhibitions. You can meet future designers, and also people, who are already working in the art industry.
